On England’s south coast, Dorset provides a mixture of scenic countryside and coastal locations with the Jurassic Coast Path running along its cliffs. Bournemouth is the main resort with the super-expensive properties of Sandbanks nearby.

Poole has the largest natural harbour in the country, formed when rising seas flooded a river valley 6,000 years ago. Other places to visit include Weymouth, Sherbourne, Bridport, Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Corfe Castle.

Dorset offers a great choice of cycling routes, many available as part of an organised group. Click Here to see a list of cycling activities on the Visit Dorset website.
